Kraig McEwen is Senior Vice President of MEDRAD Interventional/Possis, which is dedicated to developing patient solutions in interventional cardiology, interventional radiology and vascular surgery.
Kraig joined MEDRAD in 2000 as Executive Director of Business Development, where he led MEDRAD into exciting new growth areas including the creation of the Multi-Vendor Service business, expansion into China and a renewed focus on cardiovascular intervention.
In 2004, he was selected to lead MEDRAD’s Cardiovascular division, where he extended the company’s global leadership position in cardiovascular fluid delivery. He led the development of MEDRAD’s vascular interventional division growth strategy and the 2008 merger with Possis Medical, a pioneer in the field of thrombus removal. The merger created the MEDRAD Interventional/Possis Division, which is advancing interventional medicine through research, innovation and customer care.
Prior to joining MEDRAD, Kraig held several positions with General Electric from 1995 to 2000. These positions included Vice President of Operations for GE Cisco Inc. and Senior Manager of Business Development at GE Fanuc in Charlottesville, Va.
Kraig holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. He serves as a board member for the St. Margaret’s Foundation.
