A University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) clinical trial has resulted in a higher percentage of diagnostic quality exams to exclude pulmonary embolism. The study, which compares results of automated personalized protocol injection to standard protocol, also demonstrates more consistent contrast enhancement of the target pulmonary arteries over a variety of patient-specific parameters.
